Safeguarding
We work to foster an environment where everyone feels safe and seen; a space where everyone is able to thrive emotionally and spiritually.
At Rock+Redeemer, creating a safe, welcoming, and secure environment is at the very heart of who we are. Safeguarding is therefore something we all share in and contribute to as a church family, which is why we take a proactive approach across all our ministries.
While we strictly follow all UK safeguarding laws, our goal is to go above and beyond so that everyone feels genuinely safe and protected. For example, our children’s volunteer teams are fully trained and DBS checked, and we run a secure registration system. To ensure maximum safety, reputation is never a barrier: every disclosure of abuse is taken seriously, regardless of the alleged perpetrator’s role, status, or relationship to us. We work as a church to maintain a constant culture of care and vigilance.
